Celebrity chefing double act The Hairy Bikers have been announced as headliners for the North-east’s leading food festival Taste of Grampian 2021.
For years Taste of Grampian has attracted thousands of budding foodies eager to explore hundreds of food and drinks producers from across the North-east and attend live cooking demonstrations with celebrity and local chefs.
This year’s festival goes online from Friday 18 to Sunday 20 September and will continue to provide a portal of food discovery despite the restrictions of the current COVID-19 pandemic.
Attendees will continue their food voyage around local producers this year as festival organisers are working with the North-east’s finest food and drink producers to deliver taste boxes straight to audience doors.
Future celebrity guests, Si King and Dave Myers, said: “We are really pleased to be celebrating The Taste of Grampian with you all.
“We are thrilled to be involved – can’t flippin’ wait.”
It has also been confirmed that the bearded chefs will also be joined by last year’s celebrity chef James Martin at next year’s festival.
Over the coming weeks this year’s virtual headliners will be announced along with details of masterclasses, cook-a-longs and virtual tasting experiences that will take place over the weekend.
