Where I’m eating this week

Aberdeen Restaurant Week (ARW) is back (running through to Sunday) and I for one can’t wait for it to start. With two course set menus for £10 and three course dinners for £20 across over 40 eateries, I’m spoiled for choice this year however I have my shortlist and here’s where I’m going to eat this week:

FYI I’m a Brand Ambassador for Aberdeen Restaurant Week however this blog is an organic post that has not been asked as part of the brand partnership.

Tuesday – Cafe Boheme

Cafe Boheme has been on my list for a sickening amount of time and on Tuesday I finally get to experience it. I’m in awe of its menu but it’s got to be the goats cheese crotin for starter, followed by the slow cooked lamb and then the creme brulee to finish for me.

Wednesday – Kirk View Cafe

After eating here last year at the launch of ARW 2019 in September, I’ve been itching to get back to try out the menu at Kirk View Cafe. The Haggis Filo parcels and seabass risotto are going to be on my dinner order for sure.

Friday – Cafe Andaluz

And after a week of food, it’s probably best I stick to the tapas plates at Cafe Andaluz in a bid to save my trousers from busting. Included in its ARW offering is a bread basket, three tapas dishes and a dessert. If anything, make sure you order the drool worthy Pollo Rebozado Con Miel (battered chicken with a honey drizzle).

An if there’s still room – La Lombarda

I ate at La Lombarda over a week ago, but I could be tempted to make a trip back for more of that glorious pizza! Check out my full review here

So that’s where I’m eating this week, will I be seeing you at one of these eats too? If my hit list hasn’t tickled your fancy, explore the restaurants involved in this year’s ARW and book yourself in.
